9 Toll Roads Offering 30 Per Cent Discount During Eid 2026 Holiday
National road conditions have reached 93.5 per cent completion.
The 2026 Eid holiday journey is an eagerly anticipated moment, particularly with a strategic policy from PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. To support smooth traffic flow and vehicle distribution, Jasa Marga is implementing a 30 per cent toll tariff discount across nine strategic toll roads.
Jasa Marga Chief Executive Officer Rivan A. Purwantono stated that the programme aims to encourage the public to travel earlier. The price reduction is expected to alleviate congestion during peak holiday travel days.
The tariff discount applies to road users undertaking continuous journeys (long distance). The discount is available for all vehicle classes undertaking continuous journeys on designated toll road sections, though price simulations often highlight Class I vehicles as the baseline.
The 30 per cent discount will be applied for four days across nine toll roads managed by the Jasa Marga Group. The discount generally applies to toll sections already in full operation and managed by the Jasa Marga Group. For functional road sections, typically zero tariff rates—or free access—apply during the holiday period.
Important considerations for road users: the discount has strict technical conditions that must be observed to avoid losing the benefit. Road users should load their electronic toll cards with a minimum balance of Indonesian Rupiah at least 24 hours before departure to avoid system failures when topping up at rest areas.
If users switch toll cards, the system cannot verify continuous journeys from the origin toll gate. Consequently, users will be charged normal tariffs or fines according to applicable regulations.
As part of the government’s broader economic stimulus package valued at Rp12.83 trillion for the first quarter of 2026, toll tariff and transport ticket discounts ranging from 10 to 20 per cent are being provided. The Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo has announced that during the Christmas and New Year 2025 period, the government will also provide toll tariff discounts.
