852 villages in North Aceh receive Eid al-Fitr meugang cattle aid from the President

The spokesperson for the North Aceh Regency Government, Muntasir Ramli, stated that 852 villages/districts in the area have received assistance in the form of cattle for the traditional animal sacrifice (meugang) on Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah/2026 from President Prabowo Subianto. “Praise be to God, the assistance from President Prabowo Subianto for purchasing cattle for the traditional meugang of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah for disaster-affected victims has been deposited into the Regional General Cash Account (RKUD),” said Muntasir Ramli in North Aceh on Wednesday. He mentioned that North Aceh Regency received meugang cattle assistance for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah from President Prabowo Subianto in the amount of 1,123 heads with a budget of Rp19.5 billion. He explained that North Aceh Regent Ismail A Jalil has directly transferred the funds for purchasing the cattle assistance from President Prabowo Subianto to Community Groups (Pokmas) in 852 villages spread across 27 sub-districts in North Aceh. Muntasir said the mechanism for distributing the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah meugang assistance is the same as welcoming Ramadan, guided by technical instructions (juknis) from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), distributed through community groups (pokmas) in each village. “North Aceh Regent Ismail A Jalil and Deputy Regent Tarmizi Panyang conveyed their thanks to President Prabowo Subianto, Head of the Post-Disaster Recovery Task Force for Sumatra/Interior Minister Tito Karnavian, and the Aceh Government for their concern for flood-affected residents,” said Muntasir.
