85 students sent to Germany for internship

JAKARTA: The Tangerang-based Swiss German University sent on Saturday 85 students to Germany for six months' internship in companies with different core businesses to experience the production process of those companies.

The sixth-semester students, including students from engineering, information technology and business administration would be integrated into production process in research and development, as well as project management.

The university said in a press statement that all students would be given pocket money from the companies where they worked to help cover their daily expenses.

Aside from work experience, the program would also enable the students to learn and understand different cultures. -- JP
