84 THR Complaints Received by East Jakarta Labour Department Three Days Before Eid
Pressure on companies that have yet to fulfil their Eid Allowance (THR) obligations is intensifying ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026. The East Jakarta Labour, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-Department (Sudin Nakertransgi) reported receiving 84 public complaints up to H-3 before Eid on Wednesday (18/3).
The Head of the General Administration Sub-Section of Sudin Nakertransgi East Jakarta, Aldino Septa Anugrah, stated that all reports were submitted through the government’s digital channels. “Up to H-3 before Eid today, there have been a total of 84 reports related to THR. We will follow them up as quickly as possible,” Aldino emphasised in Jakarta.
Aldino explained that the complaint post serves as a state instrument to guarantee workers’ rights. Every report received via the service numbers 0823-5370-1464 and 0821-8501-7080 undergoes strict verification before enforcement actions are taken in accordance with applicable labour regulations.
Previously, Sudin Nakertransgi East Jakarta, along with the DKI Jakarta Labour, Transmigration, and Energy Department, conducted direct field monitoring. One monitoring point was PT Soho Global Health in the Pulo Gadung Industrial Area on Monday (16/3).
During the inspection, the pharmaceutical company was found to be compliant, but the government remains vigilant against potential violations at other companies.
Based on Ministry of Manpower regulations, THR must be paid in full (not in instalments) no later than H-7 before the religious holiday.
THR issues are not limited to East Jakarta. Manpower Minister Yassierli revealed that nationally, the Ministry’s post has received more than 500 consultations since H-14 before Eid. The majority of workers are questioning the transparency of THR amount calculations they receive.
“We are continuously monitoring. At the Ministry of Manpower itself, there have been more than 500 consultations. We receive questions ranging from specific cases to calculations in accordance with the rules,” Yassierli said.
The government urges workers not to hesitate in reporting companies that violate payment deadlines or unilaterally deduct THR rights through the official website poskothr.kemnaker.go.id.
