82,274 Participants Pass the 2026 SPAN-PTKIN Selection Pathway

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Committee for New Student Admissions (PMB) at State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) has announced that 82,274 participants have been declared successful in the 2026 SPAN-PTKIN selection pathway. The announcement was accessed simultaneously today via the website https://pengumuman-span.ptkin.ac.id/. “We want to ensure that these future leaders are not only academically intelligent but also psychologically prepared,” stated Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the 2026 National PMB PTKIN Committee, when contacted in Jakarta on Tuesday. The SPAN-PTKIN pathway is a national selection based on academic merit (report card grades and supporting achievements) participated in by students from madrasahs, schools, and pesantrens throughout Indonesia. Based on data from the National Committee, the majority of participants succeeded in their primary study programme choice. The breakdown of acceptances is as follows: first choice 71,175 participants, second choice 2,466 participants, third choice 6,827 participants, and fourth choice 1,806 participants. As a form of commitment to equitable education, the Ministry of Religious Affairs also granted affirmative acceptance to 756 participants from underdeveloped, remote, and outermost (3T) regions. Meanwhile, Zulfahmi Alwi, Coordinator of the Quality Assurance Working Group, emphasised that the entire assessment process was conducted objectively through strict data verification. “Data integrity is a priority. We ensure that accepted students have superior academic potential and are capable of realising their great dreams at PTKIN,” he said. For participants declared successful, the committee urges them to immediately pay attention to the registration schedule and procedures at their respective destination campuses.
