81st Postel Service Day promotes social awareness through blood donation

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Ahead of the 81st Postel Service Day commemorations, the Indonesian Telecommunications Providers Association (ATSI) has taken part by organising a blood donation event.

The Inspector General of the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Arief Tri Hard and Hardiyanto, viewed this step as a tangible form of collaboration that must be maintained, not only to demonstrate social concern but also to build Indonesia’s telecommunications industry.

“Let us continue to maintain the trust achieved so far by strengthening collaboration between the regulatory authorities and all members of our ecosystem,” said Arief in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.

Merza Fachys, Secretary General of the Indonesian Telecommunications Providers Association (ATSI), stated that the blood donation social activity to celebrate Postel Service Day serves as proof that the Indonesian telecommunications and digital industry has a real impact on society.

Although held annually, the Postel Service Day celebrations continue to expand through various events, demonstrating that the telecommunications and digital industry community is also continuously growing in Indonesia.

Following the blood donation, the 81st Postel Service Day will conclude with a peak event scheduled to take place in Bandung on 27 September 2026.

Postel Service Day is an important momentum to remember the struggles and dedication of those in the Postal, Telecommunications, and Informatics sectors in maintaining Indonesia’s communication sovereignty.

In the current digital era, this spirit is carried forward through the development of digital infrastructure, technological innovation, and efforts to provide connectivity capable of strengthening unity and supporting national development in the digital age.
