The excitement of the 81st anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia was also felt on LRT Jabodebek through various interactive activities with passengers on Monday (17/8). LRT Jabodebek engaged passengers with fun and interactive games at three stations: Dukuh Atas Bank Syariah Indonesia, Jatimulya, and Harjamukti.

LRT Jabodebek presented various interactive games, namely puzzles and quizzes about LRT Jabodebek. Passengers who took part in the games had the opportunity to receive attractive souvenirs.

Manager of Public Relations of LRT Jabodebek, Radhitya Mardika, said that the moment of the 81st anniversary of Indonesian independence was an opportunity to provide a different experience for LRT Jabodebek passengers through fun and engaging game interactions.

“The spirit of independence is present not only through the red-and-white atmosphere at the stations, but also through interaction with passengers via interactive and enjoyable activities in welcoming Indonesia’s Independence Day,” he said.

The independence festivities were made even livelier by the presence of frontline staff wearing red-and-white clothing. This atmosphere complemented the 81st Indonesian Independence Day celebrations at LRT Jabodebek with red-and-white ornaments, special 81st Independence Day livery, extended operating hours, and a special fare of Rp 8 on 17 August 2026.

Through these various activities, LRT Jabodebek hopes that the momentum of independence can be felt directly by the public who will take part in various independence celebration activities, including through journeys using safe, comfortable and integrated public transport.
