80 treated for food poisoning

TANGERANG: At least 80 workers of PT LG Electronic in Cilarap
village, Legok district, Tangerang, were rushed to hospital for
food poisoning after they had lunch in the factory canteen on
Thursday.

As of Friday, the workers were still in a weak condition at
the Al Qadar Hospital and Siloam Gleagles Hospital in Karawaci.

One of the workers said they began to have suffer stomach
cramps an hour after they had lunch at the canteen, which is run
by Aryani, a resident of Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. Minutes
later, many of the workers began to vomit.

She said the workers had rice and omelets for their lunch.
