A total of 77 villages in West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), will hold simultaneous Village Head Elections (Pilkades) in 2026. The election stages are scheduled to begin on 5 August, whilst voting will take place on 9 December.

“The government will prepare 610 polling stations (TPS),” said Deputy Regent of West Lombok Nurul Adha on Monday (27/7/2026).

To support the entire series of activities, the West Lombok Regency Government has allocated a budget of Rp 4.05 billion. “That budget is for all stages of the simultaneous Pilkades,” he said.

Adha explained that the West Lombok Regency Government, together with the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), had signed a joint agreement to maintain security and public order during the Pilkades. The signing took place on Monday (27/7/2026).

The agreement aims to ensure the security, order and smooth running of all Pilkades stages across the 77 villages. Going forward, a total of 2,220 combined personnel from the National Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces, the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) and civil service police (Linmas) will be deployed to safeguard the entire Pilkades process.

“We hope all parties can carry out their duties and responsibilities professionally so that the public can exercise their right to vote safely and comfortably,” he concluded.
