75 percent of nomination papers returned
POSO, Central Sulawesi: Poso regency's General Elections
Commission (KPU) has returned 75 percent of nomination papers
filed by legislative candidates because they were incomplete.
Local KPU chairman Yasin Mangun said many candidates failed to
attach school diplomas to their nomination papers or failed to
include a letter showing where they lived.
The candidates would have until Jan. 19 to complete their
nomination papers, Yasin said.
If they failed to return them complete and on time, their
nominations would be rejected. -- JP
