Tulungagung, East Java (ANTARA) - As many as 73 kitchens of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) in Tulungagung are currently processing the issuance of Hygiene and Sanitation Certificates (SLHS) through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. The Head of Public Health at the Tulungagung Health Office, Mamik Hidayah, stated on Monday that these 73 SPPG kitchens do not yet possess SLHS, even though they have been operating to serve the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme. “They are constrained by the completeness of the required documents,” she said. As of May 2026, there are 125 SPPG kitchens operating in Tulungagung, but only 52 have SLHS, while the other 73 are still in the processing stage. According to her, the SLHS issuance process can be completed in about three months if all administrative requirements are fulfilled. Nevertheless, the operations of the SPPG kitchens continue to support the distribution of MBG for toddlers, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, and students, with routine supervision from relevant teams. “We continue to conduct supervision to ensure all kitchens operate according to standard operating procedures,” she said. She added that the presence of SLHS is important to guarantee the quality of services and food safety in the implementation of the MBG programme in the region.
