BEKASI – The Housing, Settlement Areas and Land Agency (Disperkimtan) of Bekasi City has recorded 73 households affected by land acquisition for the construction of the Bulak Kapal Flyover.

Widayat Subroto Hardi, head of Bekasi’s Disperkimtan, stated that the affected land parcels comprise properties owned by residents as well as infrastructure, facilities and public utilities (PSU).

“These 73 land parcels consist of resident-owned property and infrastructure, facilities and public utilities land in connection with Bulak Kapal Flyover construction,” said Widayat when confirmed on Saturday, 28 February 2026.

“The breakdown is as follows: 21 land parcels in Duren Jaya, 17 parcels in Aren Jaya, and 23 parcels in Margahayu,” Widayat added.

He explained that Disperkimtan, in coordination with the National Land Agency (BPN) of Bekasi City, is now conducting land measurements as part of the land acquisition process.

“The land acquisition will be carried out in stages this year,” he said.

According to Widayat, his agency has also conducted socialisation with affected residents regarding the stages of land acquisition. Following the measurement process, the next stage involves property valuation by the Public Appraisal Services Office (KJPP) to determine the amount of compensation.

“There may be those who agree and those who do not, but we must continue to address and manage the dynamics on the ground,” he added.

Widayat is targeting that compensation payments to affected residents can begin to be realised in the coming month.

“Hopefully by March–April 2026, payment will have begun. This is because land acquisition targets must be met this year,” he said.

The physical execution process for the flyover construction falls under the authority of the Roads and Water Resources Agency (DBMSDA). Widayat further noted that the Bulak Kapal Flyover construction also takes into account adjustments to PT KAI’s plans regarding the Double-Double Track (DDT) project.
