70 percent of disaster-affected land in West Sumatra has been restored
The government is accelerating the restoration process of agricultural land that suffered light and moderate damage from hydrometeorological natural disasters in West Sumatra at the end of November 2025. The Head of the Food Crops, Horticulture, and Plantation Agency (PTPH) of West Sumatra, Afniwirman, in Padang City on Wednesday (29/4), stated that to date, the land restoration process has reached 70 percent of the total 3,902 hectares of lightly and moderately damaged land affected by the natural disaster.
