7 Steps to Pay BPJS Health Arrears in Installments
National Health Insurance (JKN) participants with overdue premiums no longer need to worry if they cannot pay in full. An official solution is now available for paying BPJS Health arrears in installments. This relief facility is accessible via the New REHAB 2.0 or Gradual Payment Plan, allowing participants to pay their overdue premiums according to their financial capacity.
New REHAB 2.0 Program Eligibility Criteria
According to Portal Informasi Indonesia, specific criteria determine who can register for this relief program, with eligibility divided by membership segment and months of arrears. The requirements for eligible participants are:
PBPU (Self-Pay) Participants: For those with over three months of arrears, allowing installments up to 12 months.
Participants Changing Segments (PPU, PBI, and PBPU Local Government): Applicable if they still have over two months of arrears from their previous self-pay registration. For this segment, arrears can be paid over up to 36 months.
How to Register for the Installment Program
Follow these steps to register for the New REHAB 2.0 program:
Open the Mobile JKN app on your device
Select the New REHAB (installment) feature on the app’s homepage
The screen will display details of your individual arrears amount
Tick the agreement form and choose your preferred installment period
A monthly installment simulation, including current month’s premium, will then appear
Confirm approval and enter your Mobile JKN PIN to validate
The REHAB registration process is now complete
BPJS Health Premiums Remain Unchanged
Social media has circulated claims of increased BPJS Health premiums, but this is untrue. BPJS Kesehatan confirmed that National Health Insurance (JKN) premium rates remain unchanged. For self-pay participants (PBPU), current rates are:
Class I: Rp150,000 per month
Class II: Rp100,000 per month
Class III: Rp35,000 per month (after a government subsidy of Rp7,000)
