7 Parking Areas for Eid al-Adha 2026 Prayers at Istiqlal Mosque

Istiqlal Mosque has prepared seven parking areas to accommodate worshippers’ vehicles for the Eid al-Adha prayers on Wednesday, 27 May 2026 (1447 AH). The parking spots are spread across various locations around the mosque to manage the expected surge in vehicles during the national-level worship. According to its official website, the prayers will commence at 7:00 AM WIB and are open to the general public. For access, organisers have divided worshippers into two categories. Pedestrians can enter via the Al-Fattah gate opposite Jakarta Cathedral, and the As-Salam 1 and As-Salam 2 gates near Juanda Bus Terminal. This year’s Eid al-Adha sermon will be delivered by Hamdan Juhannis, with the theme ‘Strengthening the Spirit of Sacrifice, Caring for the Environment and Humanity’. Ahmad Anshoruddin Ibrahim will lead the prayers as imam, with Muzakkir Abdurahman serving as the deputy imam.
