PT INKA (Persero), in collaboration with PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KAI Commuter), has completed the maintenance of seven iE305 KRL train sets. Following their period in the workshop, these seven KRL sets are now ready to resume passenger services on the Bogor route.
“Seven iE305 KRL sets will once again accompany journeys on the Bogor Line starting from 6 October 2026,” PT INKA stated via its official Instagram account on Wednesday (7/10/2026).
The maintenance of the seven KRL sets for the Bogor route was finalised on 5 October 2026, finishing four days ahead of the original target date of 9 October 2026.
“Before returning to duty, every train set has undergone thorough inspection and testing,” the company added.
For context, the Bogor route KRL serves an average of approximately 435,000 passengers per day throughout the period of January to August 2026. The seven train sets, each consisting of 12 carriages, will once again support passenger travel along this line.
“Safe travels,” the company concluded.
