7% Growth: Rosan Projects Q1/2026 Investment Realisation to Reach Rp497 Trillion
JAKARTA - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM Rosan Roeslani projects that investment realisation for the first quarter of 2026 will be around Rp497 trillion, representing approximately 7% growth compared to the Rp465.2 trillion realised in the same period last year. The investment realisation report will be presented on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.
“Indeed, we are still waiting until the 15th, but with this development, insha’Allah, the target set by the government for the first trimester can be achieved, namely Rp497 trillion, meaning around 7% annual growth,” said Rosan during a Working Meeting with Commission XII of the DPR RI at the Parliament Building, Jakarta, on Monday (13/4).
Rosan, who also serves as CEO of Danantara, further estimates that the projected investment realisation for Q1/2026 could absorb 627,000 workers, an increase of around 5.5% (year-on-year) from the same period last year, which recorded absorption of 594,104 workers.
In the presented material, the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM projects that the province with the highest investment acquisition will be Jakarta at Rp74 trillion, followed by Central Java and East Java, each contributing Rp72 trillion and Rp38 trillion respectively to the total investment in Q1/2026.
By sector, the basic metals industry is predicted to make the largest contribution to Indonesia’s investment at Rp67 trillion, followed by transportation and warehousing at Rp54 trillion.
“If we look at the countries (of investment origin), they are still dominated by Singapore, then China, then Japan, South Korea, the United States, and others,” added Rosan.
