The case has drawn scrutiny not only because the alleged perpetrator is a serving police officer, but also due to the series of alleged abuses the victim claims to have endured during her relationship with the perpetrator. Based on a chronology uploaded by Hotman Paris via his personal Instagram account, Meta claimed she was introduced to the alleged perpetrator in 2023 through a friend. At the time, the victim said she only knew the man was a widower. She also claimed she did not know that the man was a police officer. Their relationship progressed until they entered into an unregistered marriage in early 2024. However, according to the victim’s account, the alleged violence began after the marriage took place. She claims to have experienced violence during the unregistered marriage. Meta claimed she experienced various forms of alleged abuse after living with the perpetrator. In her statement, the victim said the violence was triggered by various domestic issues. Additionally, she claimed to have received unreasonable treatment in their private life. The victim even claimed her personal activities were recorded using CCTV cameras and that the footage was allegedly used as a means of threat by the alleged perpetrator’s child. She claims she was forced to prepare narcotics. Another fact that has drawn attention is the victim’s claim regarding alleged drug abuse. According to the statement conveyed by Hotman Paris, Meta only found out the perpetrator was allegedly using methamphetamine after they were married. The victim claimed she was initially told the narcotics were only for personal consumption. However, in 2025, she claimed she was forced to help mix and cook the raw materials for methamphetamine. In her account, one of the ingredients used was allegedly a strong acid.
