7,713 Students in Pangkalpinang Receive Graduation Announcements Online
The graduation announcement process for primary and junior high school students in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Province, has differed from previous years. This year, 7,713 students officially received their graduation announcements for the 2025/2026 academic year online through the Graduation Announcement Information System application, known as STIMULUS, on Tuesday (2/6).
In addition to viewing their results, students can directly download their Graduation Certificate (SKL) via their mobile phones. The Acting Head of the Pangkalpinang Education and Culture Office, Darwin, stated that the STIMULUS application was introduced as a form of digital transformation in educational services, supporting Pangkalpinang’s vision as a smart city.
He explained that the graduation announcements for primary and junior high levels were conducted simultaneously starting from 10:00 WIB via the STIMULUS website. Students only need to enter their National Student Identification Number (NISN) as both the username and password to access the system. Once logged in, students can view their full identity and graduation status. If declared passed, the system automatically displays a download button to obtain the SKL.
“So, students only need to use their mobile phones. It can be accessed anytime and anywhere. There is no need to come to school just to see the announcement or collect the graduation certificate,” he said.
According to data from the Pangkalpinang Education and Culture Office, 7,713 students were announced this year, consisting of 4,054 primary school students and 3,659 junior high school students. The primary school graduates include 2,981 students from public schools and 1,073 from private schools, while junior high graduates consist of 2,806 public school students and 853 private school students.
The graduation announcements covered 122 schools in Pangkalpinang, comprising 91 primary schools and 31 junior high schools. Specifically, there were 66 public primary schools and 25 private primary schools, while the junior high level consisted of 10 public and 21 private schools. Furthermore, the STIMULUS innovation is integrated with the use of Electronic Signatures (TTE) for educational documents.
