66 students off to Japan
JAKARTA: Sixty-six researchers and students will leave for Japan today to continue their studies in various fields.
They are the first group of Indonesians to receive the Japanese government's Monbusho scholarship this year.
Japanese ambassador Taizo Watanabe said yesterday that the scholarships were intended to strengthen the relationship between Indonesia and Japan.
The second group will leave for Japan in October. (pan)
