66,000 PBI-JKN participants in Central Lombok reactivated after deactivation
A total of 66 thousand BPJS participants in Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), who were deactivated from PBI-JKN have been reactivated. The figure is based on records from the Central Lombok Regency Government.
The PBI-JKN programme is a health-insurance scheme for the poor to obtain medical services free of charge without paying monthly premiums because the costs are covered by the state. The main category eligible as participants is those officially registered within the Social Welfare Integrated Data System (DTKS).
“The number of participants reactivated is 66 thousand out of 92 thousand PBI-JKN participants deactivated in 2026,” said Masnun, head of the Lombok Tengah Social Service (Dinsos Lombok Tengah), on Friday (6/3/2025).
He said the participants who have been activated were initially 60 thousand. Then, the number increased by 6,514 participants in February 2026. Consequently, around 32 thousand remain to be reactivated.
“Hopefully this reactivation target will be achieved more quickly so that residents can obtain maximum health services,” Masnun hoped.
Dinsos Lombok Tengah has appointed staff in each village to accelerate reactivation of PBI-JKN that are not yet active. Residents can visit their respective village offices to carry out the reactivation.
“Staff in each village are in place. Residents just need to go to the village office and it can be processed immediately,” Masnun explained.
Masnun urged residents who have been deactivated as PBI-JKN participants to carry out reactivation. The aim is for the card to be used properly when ill. “Don’t reactivate only when you are sick; start now to check,” he urged.
