650 Buildings in South Jakarta Registered in PTSP System

The South Jakarta City Government, through its Cipta Karya, Tata Ruang, and Pertanahan Sub-agency (Sudin Citata), has recorded that 650 buildings in South Jakarta are now registered with the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP).

Head of the South Jakarta Sudin Citata, Andy Lazuardy, stated on Wednesday that the figure represents buildings of up to eight storeys that fall under the sub-agency’s authority. Of this total, more than 230 buildings have been surveyed as part of a target to inspect 450 buildings throughout 2026.

In addition to conducting oversight, Sudin Citata is actively educating building owners and managers on the importance of obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy (SLF). Andy explained that the certificate benefits owners by providing proof that a building has passed feasibility tests and is safe for use, including for rental or other purposes.

‘We are providing education that the SLF is actually for their benefit, not for the government,’ Andy said. ‘The government merely facilitates the process, ensuring the building has been tested and has a guarantor. Administratively, we issue the SLF because there is a guarantor and an assessor.’

To improve compliance, Sudin Citata will hold a public awareness campaign regarding Building Approvals (PBG) and SLF for both government and private building owners and managers in the third quarter of 2026.

Andy expressed hope that more building owners will evaluate their properties and promptly process their SLF to improve safety standards in South Jakarta. ‘We hope other building owners will also evaluate their buildings, including ensuring they have an SLF, so that public safety as building users is truly guaranteed,’ he said.

The South Jakarta City Government, through Sudin Citata, will also issue warning letters to owners or managers who fail to process the required documents promptly.
