63 Pekalongan Regency Officials and Civil Servants to Be Questioned by KPK Following Fadia Arafiq OTT

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, PEKALONGAN – As many as 63 officials and civil servants from Pekalongan Regency will be questioned gradually by the KPK at the Pekalongan City Police station. Their questioning relates to the alleged corruption case carried out by the former regent of Pekalongan, Fadia Arafiq.

Acting Regent of Pekalongan Sukirman confirmed the questioning. “The KPK’s summons has been informed in advance. Thus, civil servants have time to adjust their work schedules,” he said on Wednesday (8/4/2026).

He has asked the civil servants being questioned by the KPK to be cooperative. “We must respect and follow the legal process being carried out by the KPK,” said Sukirman.

The Secretary of Pekalongan Regency M Yulian Akbar also confirmed the questioning of officials and civil servants from Pekalongan Regency by the KPK. “In total, around 63 people will be questioned,” he stated.

Regarding the material of the questioning, Yulian could not reveal it in detail. “This questioning is part of the investigation into the alleged corruption case that occurred from 2021 to 2026,” he said.

The questioning by the KPK began on Wednesday (7/4/2026) and is reported to continue for several days ahead. Some officials who have already been questioned include former Head of the Pekalongan Regency Health Office Setyawan Dwi Antoro, Head of BKD Pekalongan Ajid Suryo Pratondo, and Head of Diskominfo Pekalongan Supriyadi.

In addition to them, Head of DPUPR Pekalongan Regency Murdiarso, Head of ULP Section Zaenuri, and Talun Subdistrict Head Argo have also been questioned by the KPK.

Former regent of Pekalongan, Fadia Arafiq, was caught in the KPK’s OTT on 3 March 2026. The KPK has designated her as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of procurement of goods and services, particularly outsourcing services.
