600 goats for Lombok

MATARAM, West Nusa Tenggara: The government of Saudi Arabia
will donate money to At-Tohiriyah Islamic Boarding School in
Central Lombok to purchase 600 goats for the customary Idul Adha
day of sacrifice.

The school's principal, Achmad Fadly, said here Saturday that
the goats would be slaughtered and shared among more than 5,000
poor people in West and Central Lombok.

Last year, Saudi Arabia donated 800 goats to the school which
has 1,500 students.

"The assistance from Saudi Arabia is meant to help the poor
and raise their nutrition levels," Achmad said as quoted by
Antara.
