6 Songs Sung by Prabowo and His Entourage During Visit to Miangas

JAKARTA - A warm moment enveloped the meeting between Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and residents in Miangas, Talaud, North Sulawesi, on Saturday (9/5/2026). Broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube, Prabowo and his entourage invited the Miangas residents to sing and dance together during the event. The officials accompanying the president included Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Wijaya, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, and Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin. Initially, President Prabowo introduced the accompanying TNI generals to Miangas. He then asked those generals to sing along with the residents. “Generals, don’t always want to be honoured; generals must sometimes entertain the people, right?” Prabowo asked. In addition to singing together, Prabowo was also captured on camera joining in the dance during the meeting. Prabowo mingled and danced with the residents when the song Tabola Bale by Silet Open Up was played. Subsequently, Prabowo and the Miangas residents held a photo session together. The president was seen embracing several children during the group photo session. Prabowo shook hands with residents before finally leaving the location.
