Another listed company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) is set to distribute a jumbo dividend. This stock’s dividend yield reaches 6.8%, approximately three times higher than the deposit interest rate. The jumbo dividend comes from PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk (DRMA), a company in the automotive components sector, which will distribute cash dividends totalling Rp329.4 billion. The dividend distribution aligns with the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on Friday (17/4/2026). Dharma Polimetal’s President Director, Irianto Santoso, stated that with the cash dividend amount of Rp329.4 billion, the payout ratio stands at Rp70 per share. “This dividend distribution is DRMA’s effort to provide sustainable added value to shareholders,” he explained in an official statement on Saturday (18/4/2026). That amount is equivalent to the rupiah deposit interest rate at general banks, which is 2%-3% per year. Irianto added that, supported by solid financial performance and healthy cash flow, this dividend distribution reflects DRMA’s enduring strong business fundamentals amid industry dynamics. Reviewing the 2025 fiscal year performance, DRMA recorded net sales of Rp5.93 trillion, growing 7.81% year-on-year (YoY) from Rp5.50 trillion. On the bottom line, net profit attributable to the parent entity’s owners surged 12.65% year-on-year to Rp652.58 billion in 2025 from Rp579.28 billion in 2024. “The dividend distribution decision is not only based on optimism for future performance growth prospects but also maintains a balance with long-term expansion,” Irianto said. The dividend amount distributed by DRMA this year is significantly larger than before. From the 2024 fiscal year profit, DRMA distributed cash dividends of Rp202.4 billion or equivalent to Rp43 per share. Thus, the DRMA stock dividend from the 2025 fiscal year increased by 62.8% compared to 2024.
