5K and 10K Races Open BTN JAKIM 2026 Series

The 5K and 10K race numbers opened the BTN Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) 2026 series at Parkir Timur Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday. The 5K race, titled BSN 5K, was participated in by more than 5,500 runners. This number was contested in a single category, namely National Indonesia, which promised prizes of Rp7 million for the male and female champions, and Rp5 million and Rp3 million for those finishing in second and third place respectively. The BSN 5K route took in Parkir Timur Senayan-Jembatan Semanggi-Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Bundaran Senayan-Parkir Timur Senayan. Meanwhile, the 10K race, or EJ Sport 10K, was participated in by more than 15,000 runners. The EJ Sport 10K was contested in three categories: National Indonesia, Master A (ages 40-49), and Master B (ages 50 and above). The EJ Sport 10K route covered Parkir Timur Senayan-Bundaran HI-Jembatan Semanggi-Jalan Asia Afrika-Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium. Overall, the 5K and 10K races were attended by at least 45,000 runners from 52 countries. At least 1,012 BTN JAKIM 2026 participants came from abroad to take part in this road racing event. On Sunday, BTN JAKIM 2026 will continue with the half marathon and marathon races.
