59-year-old man dies in the saddle

JAKARTA (JP): A 59-year-old man died while having sex at a
massage parlor in downtown Kota, West Jakarta, Sunday evening.

Police identified the victim as Pradikto Suratno, who lived at
Jl. Kebon Jeruk Baru Blok A VIII Number 38 in Kebun Jeruk
subdistrict, also in West Jakarta.

The girl who was with him to the very end has been identified
as Wiwiek, 36.

Police have questioned at least four witnesses, including
Wiwiek.

Based on preliminary questioning it was disclosed that
Pradikto was a regular patron at the massage parlor.

According to witnesses, the victim entered a private room
together with Wiwiek at 5:30 p.m.

Wiwiek said that after she massaged him, Pradikto requested
that she have sexual intercourse with him, an offer that she
accepted when he promised to pay in cash.

A few minutes later, Wiwiek realized that the man lying on top
of her naked body was showing no signs of life. She then pushed
away Pradikto's body, grabbed her clothes and rushed to the
cashier for help.

The employees and their boss immediately sent Pradikto to a
nearby clinic, but he was pronounced dead by a doctor there.

They then reported the incident to the police.

According to City Police spokesman Lt. Col. A. Latief Rabar,
the Tambora Police subprecinct, which is handling the case, has
sent the dead body to Cipto Mangunkusumo general hospital for an
autopsy.

"We found no drugs or alcoholic beverages in the massage
room," he said. "We strongly believe that he died of a heart
attack because according to his relatives, the victim was
suffering from diabetes and heart disease."

The police have confiscated the deceased's clothes and massage
cream from the scene as evidence.

Latief, however, refused to clarify Pradikto's marital status
or reveal his profession. (bsr)
