JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - A total of 574 personnel have been placed on standby to serve holiday travellers along the entire length of the Trans-Java Toll Road during the Eid mudik and return traffic periods in 2026. These on-call personnel form part of the toll road operator’s preparations to ensure the smooth and safe journey of the public, particularly on the main route connecting various cities on the island of Java. “These personnel are ready to be deployed at any time to handle various emergency situations or potential traffic disruptions that may occur during the period of increased public mobility,” stated Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT), Ria Marlinda Paallo, on Wednesday (18/3/2026). In addition, operational support has been strengthened through the provision of towing fleets, ambulances, and toll road patrols that are on alert 24 hours a day. This measure is taken as an anticipation of the significant increase in vehicle volume during the Eid mudik period, especially on sections with high density levels. The toll road operator, together with the police and related agencies, continues to coordinate to ensure all services run optimally.
