54 personnel put out fire at Afterhour coffee shop in Poins Square Mall

A total of 54 personnel from the Jakarta South Sub-District Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat) put out a fire at the Afterhour coffee shop within Poins Square Mall in Lebak Bulus on Monday.

“We deployed 14 units, totalling 54 personnel,” said Gulkarmat Jakarta South member Anwar Kamsari in a statement on Monday.

Anwar stated that the department received the report at 7:17 PM WIB and began firefighting at 7:23 PM WIB.

The fire affected the Afterhour coffee shop located on the second floor of the shopping centre.

Cooling operations commenced at 7:35 PM WIB, with the fire status classified as yellow or cooling phase, he added.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause, casualties, and estimated losses.
