52 BSA Participants Attend Special Training at Paragon Office
A total of 52 village heads participating in the 2026 Benyamin S Award (BSA) received special training from the ParagonCorp team during a visit to the Paragon Community Hub in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (27 October).
The training was designed to teach the village heads how to become effective marketers and content creators.
“These two themes will be covered in special training by our colleagues at Paragon, with the aim of helping the village heads become capable urban estate managers,” said Faisal, Head of Third-Party Cooperation at the Regional Cooperation Bureau (KSD) of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Secretariat, on Tuesday (27 October).
Faisal said the training was provided as a form of appreciation from the KSD Bureau. The recognition was intended not only for the finalists but for all BSA participants.
The collaboration with ParagonCorp was described as tangible evidence of cooperation between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and its partners. ParagonCorp said it welcomed the partnership.
“We see this as an extraordinary and very good opportunity to work together and contribute to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, in this case by supporting the village heads,” said Yasir, ParagonCorp’s External Relations Lead.
Yasir said that, having previously worked only with communities, ParagonCorp saw the training as a way to build collaboration with local area leaders.
ParagonCorp had previously provided public-speaking training to BSA finalists. This time, however, the focus would be more on communicating programmes and making use of social media.
“We hope the good programmes that village heads have been carrying out can be communicated and made public,” he said.
The training series is the third to be held as part of BSA 2026. In addition to the training, the village heads have gone through elimination rounds, a festival and final presentations.
The stages are intended to assess how each urban village is building a cleaner, more comfortable, attractive and prosperous environment. These four aspects are the pillars of the 2026 Benyamin S Award, which recognises village heads across DKI Jakarta for improving the quality of their areas.
The BSA 2026 programme will conclude with a grand finale on 30 October.
