Jakarta (ANTARA) — The South Jakarta Office of Transportation verified 519 prospective participants for the Free Mudik Programme of the Jakarta Provincial Government, for the second cluster, at Jalan MT Haryono, Cikoko urban village, Pancoran District.

‘The 519 participants constitute the second cluster in accordance with the departure schedule that had been previously set,’ said Wawan Ikhwan, Head of the Jalan Transport Section at the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Agency (Sudinhub), in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Wawan said the figure arose from verifications conducted from 28 February to 2 March 2026.

He detailed that applicants verified for the Yogyakarta destination numbered 222, for Kuningan 18, for Lampung 66, and for Tegal 50.

Next, Kebumen had 87 participants, Jombang 55 and Pekalongan 21.

‘There are two applicants who have cancelled their participation in this Free Mudik Programme. It is also noted that seven two-wheeled vehicles will be dispatched separately,’ he said.

Wawan urged all applicants to utilise the Free Mudik Programme in an orderly manner, to complete all required documents, and to maintain health before departure.

‘Today marks the registration for the third or final cluster. I ask all participants who have registered to be more thorough in checking administrative matters, departure and return schedules, and other regulations,’ he said.

One Mudik participant, Rustami, praised the service of the officers during the verification process for providing clear and detailed information, which makes it easier for participants to understand the steps to take.

‘Kawan I will depart for Yogyakarta with four family members. Praise be to God, the information provided is very clear, so I know the verification steps and the departure schedule,’ he said.

Earlier, as many as 259 passengers had already registered for the Free Mudik Programme of the Jakarta Provincial Government at the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Office, Jalan MT Haryono, Cikoko, Pancoran, South Jakarta (Jaksel).
