500 South Sulawesi Civil Servants Officially Become Ground Force Reserve Component Soldiers

A number of Reserve Component (Komcad) soldiers from the civil servant (ASN) element of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government participated in the Komcad ASN 2026 commissioning ceremony at Karebosi Field, Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Wednesday (13/5/2026). The Ministry of Defence appointed and swore in 500 soldiers of the Komcad Ground Force Battalion from the ASN of the South Sulawesi Provincial Government after undergoing approximately two months of training as an effort to strengthen the spirit of patriotism, discipline, and accountability in carrying out public services while supporting the state defence system based on the Total People’s Defence and Security System (Sishankamrata).
