50% Discount on Electricity Power Upgrade in Celebration of Jakarta's Anniversary: Check the Requirements

PLN customers in Jakarta can take advantage of a discount promotion for electricity power upgrades in celebration of the 499th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta. The programme offers a cost reduction of up to 50% for power upgrade services for customers who meet the conditions. The promotion is held by PLN’s Greater Jakarta Distribution Unit (UID Jakarta Raya) through the Gebyar DKI Jakarta programme. Based on information shared via the official Instagram account @pln_disjaya, the promo is valid from 10 June to 23 June 2026. Through this programme, customers can apply for an electricity power increase at a more affordable cost compared to the normal rate. PLN stated that the promo aims to provide convenience for customers who require greater electricity capacity for household needs or other activities. Referring to the terms announced by PLN UID Jakarta Raya, there are several requirements that customers must meet to obtain this promo. The requirements are: low-voltage single-phase consumer; initial power of 450 VA up to 7,700 VA; registered as a PLN customer before 1 June 2026; full settlement of all electricity bills with no arrears; submission of the power upgrade through the PLN Mobile application; purchase of electricity tokens or bill payments via PLN Mobile using the promo code HUTDKI499; and the power upgrade application must be submitted after obtaining an e-voucher from the transaction in PLN Mobile. Customers need to make a transaction via the PLN Mobile application first to obtain the promo voucher. The steps are: open the PLN Mobile application; purchase electricity tokens or pay electricity bills; enter the promo code HUTDKI499 when making the transaction; receive the power upgrade e-voucher; and apply for the power upgrade through PLN Mobile using the obtained voucher. PLN sets a maximum of four transactions to get four promo codes during the programme period. PLN UID Jakarta Raya explained that the promo does not apply to voltage changes, phase changes, or migration services. Furthermore, the power that has been increased through this programme cannot be lowered again for a minimum of one year after the realisation of the power upgrade. PLN also stated that the promo cannot be combined with other ongoing power upgrade programmes or promos. Customers who wish to utilise this programme are advised to immediately submit an application before the promo period ends on 23 June 2026.
