Regarding corporate actions, PT Mitra Investindo Tbk (MITI) is expanding its silica sand business development plans through a partnership with PT CNEC Engineering Indonesia (CNEC INA). An MoU between the two parties was signed on 29 September 2026. CNEC INA is a subsidiary of China Nuclear Engineering & Construction Corporation, a Chinese state-owned enterprise. Through this collaboration, MITI will develop three silica sand mine concessions owned by its subsidiary.
The scope of development includes exploration stages, feasibility studies, and technical engineering. The partnership also involves the involvement of technical and engineering partners from China as well as potential funding support. This development is aimed at activating MITI’s silica sand concessions, which have remained unoperated. This step is also related to the national silica sand downstreaming agenda, supported by potential reserves of approximately 7.80 billion tonnes.
In the Silica Downstreaming Roadmap, industrial development is directed towards entering the solar panel industry chain. One of its derivative products is solar-grade silicon wafers used as the base material for solar cells. Processing silica sand into such products has the potential to increase added value by approximately 1,300 times.
Furthermore, PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) is opening opportunities to secure new contracts outside of its current ongoing projects. This potential is supported by its large-scale operational capacity, available fleet, technical capabilities, and the company’s access to funding. This opportunity arises following the issuance of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree Number 365.K/2026, which regulates the restriction on the use of subsidiaries and affiliates of Mining Service Business Permit (IUJP) holders in the mineral and coal sector.
For DEWA, the regulation is deemed not to have a material impact on the company’s activities. DEWA can adjust its licensing and operational structures to comply with the applicable provisions. The company currently serves as an independent contractor for Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) and Arutmin Indonesia. DEWA’s involvement in the activities of both companies has been reported and approved by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the annual RKAB.
KPC and Arutmin Indonesia are also involved in the national strategic project of coal gasification through Bumi Etam Chemical. Additionally, both have Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) assignments with supplies reaching 22.30 million tonnes. This amount is equivalent to approximately 30% of domestic sales in 2025 or about 9% of national requirements. This condition serves as the basis allowing DEWA’s operational activities to fall under the exemption to the restrictions.
Additionally, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) has set an interim cash dividend for the 2026 fiscal year of Rp233 per share. The total dividend to be distributed will reach approximately Rp449.02 billion. This interim dividend amount is the highest recorded since 2018. The decision to distribute the dividend was made after AALI booked net profit growth in the first half of 2026.
AALI’s net profit in the first half of 2026 reached Rp1.10 trillion, an increase of 56.51% year-on-year compared to Rp702.12 billion in the first half of 2025. During the same period, retained earnings not yet allocated for specific uses were recorded at Rp19 trillion. With this realised profit, the interim dividend of Rp233 per share reflects a dividend payout ratio (DPR) of 40.86% of the first half 2026 net profit.
AALI shares closed at the level of Rp8,000 per share in trading on 30 September 2026. Using this price, the interim dividend of Rp233 per share is equivalent to a dividend yield of approximately 2.91%. The cum date for the AALI dividend in the regular and negotiated markets is set for 8 October 2026, with the payment scheduled for 26 October 2026.
