5 Chinese arrested for visa violations

JAKARTA: Five Chinese women working as entertainers were
arrested last on Thursday for visa violations.

The five, identified as Wei Bing, Tian Fang, Chen Yulan,
Li Liang Jun and Zeng Qiuw, were arrested by the Directorate
General for Immigration of the Ministry of Justice and Human
Rights at an apartment in Central Jakarta.

The Chinese entertainers came to Indonesia on May 9 using
business visas, which will expire on July 9.

They are likely to be deported. --JP
