5.6-Hectare Green Space in South Jakarta Opened, Here Are Its Impacts
The development of Taman Bendera Pusaka in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, not only adds open green space but also demonstrates the role of project supervision in ensuring the quality of public infrastructure.
Sucofindo was involved as a construction management consultant overseeing the development process of the park, which spans approximately 5.6 hectares.
“Sucofindo was appointed as the construction management consultant supervising the construction work in this park area,” said the Head of the Jakarta Branch of Sucofindo, Berriman H. Nadeak, in a press statement on Tuesday (31/3/2026).
“We ensure that every task runs on time, in accordance with quality specifications, and prioritises aspects of health and work safety at the project site,” he added.
This involvement is part of the company’s contribution to supporting the development of sustainable and high-quality public facilities.
“This park serves as an alternative space for Jakarta residents,” said Teguh.
“We have combined three parks into one open green space area so that the community has a comfortable public space for outdoor activities.”
The area is equipped with facilities such as a children’s playground, Merah Putih bridge, padel court, and a multifunctional field that can be used for various community activities.
“We express our thanks to the Sucofindo team who have worked maximally in a relatively short time, even nearly 24 hours from October to March,” he said.
“It is hoped that this public space can be used together by Jakarta residents and those around it.”
Meanwhile, Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung stated that this park is part of the local government’s efforts to provide inclusive public spaces.
“Alhamdulillah, Taman Bendera Pusaka can soon be utilised by the community,” said Pramono.
“The presence of this park is part of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s efforts to provide integrated and community-friendly open green spaces.”
