Furthermore, on 21 March there are 12,772 seats available, and for the period from 22 March to 1 April 2026, more than 20,000 seats per day remain available.

According to Franoto, the seat availability data is dynamic and subject to change at any time, in line with bookings and cancellations by prospective passengers.

To support passenger demand, he said, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta is also operating 16 additional services, comprising 10 additional departures from Gambir Station and 6 additional departures from Pasar Senen Station during the period of 11 March to 1 April 2026.

With these additions, a total of 84 long-distance train services per day will operate from the Daop 1 Jakarta area during the Lebaran transport period.

Franoto added that the government is providing a stimulus in the form of a 30 per cent fare reduction for commercial economy class trains. This policy is expected to help the public access safe, comfortable, punctual and affordable transport during the Lebaran period.
