470 Law Ministry Services to Go Fully Digital by September 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas said that as many as 470 services of the Ministry of Law will only be accessible digitally from September 2026.
In a dialogue with the Indonesian Employers’ Association (Apindo) in Makassar, South Sulawesi, on Tuesday, he said the move was taken to support the investment climate and national economic growth.
“So it will be easier and faster,” Supratman said, as confirmed from Jakarta.
The Ministry of Law affirmed the Government’s commitment to improving legal certainty for investment in the business world through the digital transformation of all services under the Ministry of Law.
In addition to the digital transformation process, Supratman also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to deregulating rules affecting the investment climate in order to boost the competitiveness of national industry.
He added that all regulations that hinder investment would be reviewed and deregulated.
The Minister of Law also stressed that the law must not become an obstacle to investment, but must instead serve as a driver and break the chain of high costs.
Meanwhile, for the notification of approval of limited company annual reports, he ensured there would be no charge until 31 December 2026.
The dialogue with Apindo in Makassar was also attended by Minister of Manpower Yassierli.
Before the dialogue, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, and Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hassan were also present to deliver keynote speeches on the investment climate and Indonesia’s economic resilience.
Previously, Supratman had targeted that the General Legal Administration (AHU) services would again be accessible 24 hours a day from September 2026.
The AHU services currently operate only from 07.30 to 16.00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB) owing to an ongoing system migration.
“God willing, at the start of September we will open seven days a week, 30 days a month, 24 hours a day,” Supratman said at the Pasti Ada Solusi event in Jakarta on Friday (31/7).
Supratman stressed that the move reflects the Ministry of Law’s commitment to serving the entire public, and therefore requires the support of the Ministry’s high, middle and junior leadership.
