Jakarta - The Indonesian National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, led a promotion ceremony for 47 senior officers (pati) within the National Police, on Thursday (19/3/2026), at the Rupatama of National Police Headquarters, Jakarta.

In the ceremony, one officer was officially promoted to the rank of Commissioner General (Komjen) Pol, 14 officers to Inspector General (Irjen) Pol, and 32 officers to Brigadier General (Brigjen) Pol.

The highest promotion was achieved by Achmad Kartiko, who now holds the rank of Komjen Pol. He currently serves as the Head of the Education and Training Institute (Kalemdiklat) of the National Police.

Meanwhile, several officers promoted to the rank of Irjen Pol include Irjen Pol Alfred Papare (West Papua Police Chief), Irjen Pol Moffan Moedji Kawanti (Chief Police Auditor Level I of the Internal Affairs Division of the National Police), up to Irjen Pol Asep Guntur Rahayu, who currently serves as Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) RI,” as stated in the information shared by the National Police Public Relations Division on Thursday.

Some of them include Jermias Rontini, who serves as Central Papua Police Chief, and Muhajir as Deputy Chief of Papua Police.

In addition, two personnel received extraordinary promotions (KPLB) to Brigjen Pol, namely Sambas Kurniawan and Medyanta.

The Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Irjen Johnny Eddizon Isir, stated that these promotions are a form of institutional appreciation for the dedication and performance of the senior officers.

“These promotions are not only a form of appreciation but also a mandate and greater responsibility to continue enhancing professionalism, integrity, and service to the public,” said Isir.

Furthermore, these promotions are expected to strengthen the National Police’s transformation efforts towards a precise, professional, and modern institution.

The promotion ceremony took place solemnly and serves as an important momentum in career development and the strengthening of the National Police organisation moving forward.
