45 countries attend IACCP in Yogya

YOGYAKARTA: Some 455 delegates from 45 countries participated
in the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology
conference scheduled for July 15 through July 17 in Yogyakarta.

Chairman of the conference's organizing committee Djamaluddin
Ancok said Yogyakarta was determined to host the congress because
the city was unique and rich in cultural heritage.

"And the theme of 'Unity in diversity, make it a peaceful
world' matches the city's uniqueness," he said.

The congress is aiming to ask delegates to create policies
toward making this a peaceful world, he said. --JP
