444 Hajj Pilgrims from Indramayu Group 01 Arrive in Indonesia, One Remains Under Medical Care in Saudi Arabia

A member of the first group (Kloter 01) of the Kertajati Debarkation from Indramayu Regency was unable to return to Indonesia. Meanwhile, 444 other Hajj pilgrims belonging to the same group arrived safely at the Indramayu Pendopo on Tuesday (2/6/2026).

The Deputy Regent of Indramayu, Syaefudin, stated that the total number of pilgrims and officials in Group 01 from Indramayu Regency is 445. However, out of these 445 individuals, one person could not return with the group as they are still undergoing medical treatment in the Holy Land, as their health condition is currently unfit for air travel.

“For Group 01, there are 445 pilgrims. However, one of our pilgrims, Mr Kusbiyanto, was left behind because he is not fit to fly. We are waiting until he is medically cleared. God willing, he will be healthy and return when the time comes,” said Syaefudin, who was also part of the Group 01 pilgrimage delegation.

Syaefudin revealed that, overall, the services provided to Hajj pilgrims during this year’s season were excellent. Despite facing extreme weather with temperatures reaching 47 degrees Celsius in Mina, the pilgrims received high-quality service and comfort.
