44 Jakarta Paskibraka Inaugurated, Pramono Entrusts Message on Integrity

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has inaugurated 44 members of the 2026 Jakarta Provincial Paskibraka (Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka, or flag-raising squad). Pramono urged the Paskibraka members to firmly uphold integrity and responsibility.

The inauguration took place at Balai Agung, Jakarta City Hall, on Thursday (13/8/2026). The 44 Paskibraka members are among Jakarta’s finest young people, having passed a selection process that ran from May to August.

“This inauguration is certainly not merely a ceremony, but a reinforcement of responsibility for future national leaders to possess discipline, integrity, responsibility and a spirit of willingness to defend the country,” Pramono said in his remarks.

Pramono expressed hope that the values gained during the selection and formation process would not end after they carry out their duties as flag-raisers. According to him, these values should serve as provisions for the Paskibraka members in the future.

“I hope the values gained during the selection process do not stop there, and that they become provisions for them to one day become people who are useful for the nation and the state,” he said.

Pramono then congratulated the 44 Jakarta Paskibraka members who had been inaugurated. He expressed hope that their entire series of duties would proceed smoothly and safely.

“May everything go well, smoothly, comfortably and safely, and once again congratulations to all of you. And hopefully this mandate can be carried out as well as possible,” he added.
