Tanjungpandan - The Belitung Regency Office of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) confirmed that 42 Hajj pilgrims from Bangka Belitung Province, alongside other pilgrims, are ready to perform the Hajj’s pinnacle ritual, Wukuf at Arafat. ‘42 Hajj pilgrims (JCH) from Belitung are in good health ahead of the Hajj’s pinnacle ritual, Wukuf at Arafat,’ said Belitung Regency Kemenhaj Head Fitriatun in Tanjungpandan on Monday. He added that the physical and mental condition of Belitung’s JCH is prepared for the Wukuf ritual at Arafat. He stated that Belitung’s JCH will depart for Arafat on Monday (25 May), between 11.39am and 4.00pm WIB. ‘Alhamdulillah, all Belitung pilgrims are healthy and ready to perform the Hajj’s pinnacle,’ he said. Twenty Hajj pilgrims classified as elderly (lansia) and high-risk (risti), along with their companions, will depart using the murur scheme, which involves passing through Muzdalifah without overnight stay. For the Mina phase, Belitung’s pilgrims are scheduled to choose Nafar Tsani, staying in Mina until 13 Dhu al-Hijjah to complete the stoning rituals before returning to Makkah. ‘Alhamdulillah, all Belitung Hajj pilgrims are currently in good health and ready to perform the Wukuf ritual at Arafat and the subsequent rites,’ he said.
