411,778 Visitors Flock to IKN in March-April 2026
Nusantara (ANTARA) - A total of 411,778 visitors flocked to the Nusantara Capital (IKN) during March-April 2026, comprising 352,102 people during the Eid al-Fitr holiday from 18–29 March, and 59,676 during the Easter holiday from 3-5 April.
The IKN Authority (OIKN) ensured that public visitation services operated optimally amid the rising enthusiasm from the public during the extended holiday periods in the Core Government Centre Area (KIPP) of Nusantara.
“The large number of visitors indicates the high interest of the public in seeing the development progress of IKN directly,” said Troy Pantouw, Special Staff to the Head of OIKN for Public Communications and Spokesperson for the IKN Authority, in Nusantara on Monday.
During the 18–29 March period, which saw 352,102 visitors, a total of 80,105 vehicles entered IKN, ranging from two-wheeled, four-wheeled, to buses. Meanwhile, during the Easter holiday, 14,382 vehicles entered.
Nur Halipah, one of the visitors from Sepaku Subdistrict, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan, while at the glass bridge, expressed her admiration for the view from above.
“Upon arriving here (at the glass bridge), wow… the scenery is truly beautiful. Although I was a bit scared at first when entering the glass bridge. The services here are also good, orderly, and safe,” she said.
Visitors from Balikpapan also shared similar impressions. Tourists expressed awe at the scenery and available facilities, and even planned to return with their families.
Meanwhile, the Easter holiday atmosphere was felt at Nusantara Park, managed by the Artha Graha Group. Various activities were held, from culinary offerings and egg colouring competitions for children to egg hunts at the ceremonial plaza.
Agnes, the manager of Nusantara Park, said the series of activities that had been running since last Friday received a positive response from the public.
“From Chinese New Year, then Eid al-Fitr, to this Easter holiday, public enthusiasm has been increasing. Every weekend, the number of visitors is also getting busier,” she said.
