A total of 41 residents from underprivileged families in Batang, Central Java, have successfully entered the workforce after completing a vocational training programme. The initiative was organised by Rumah Amal Salman in collaboration with Ruang Amal Indonesia.

The programme, known as the Paradaya Movement, provided a series of shoe stitching operator training sessions from 3 to 8 November 2025. It covered technical skills, character building, and industrial work culture. Of the 50 participants, 82 per cent were subsequently recruited by manufacturing companies operating in the Batang industrial area, with some undergoing on-the-job training at PT Wide Hero.

One beneficiary, Rizki Indriani, a junior high school graduate living with her extended family, faced significant economic challenges. Her parents worked as duck herders, and her husband was a courier. Despite initial doubts about her educational background, she completed the vocational training and a one-month on-the-job training period. In January 2026, she was formally hired as a production operator at PT Wide Hero Toy Indonesia.
