400 SOE Employees to Undergo Nine-Month Leadership Training Under PFLP
President Prabowo Subianto has launched the Presidential Future Leaders Program (PFLP) to prepare 400 future leaders for state-owned enterprises (SOEs). Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel TNI Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that President Prabowo specifically initiated the programme to prepare future SOE leaders.
Yesterday, Sunday, 24 May 2026, Prabowo delivered a briefing to PFLP 2026 participants in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java. Hundreds of programme participants will undergo a nine-month training divided into three main stages. “The first stage involves character and discipline building over three months,” Teddy said, according to a written statement on Monday, 25 May 2026.
During the second stage, PFLP participants will receive managerial capacity strengthening and decision-making skills at Danantara Corporate University for four months. “And a two-month internship at ministries, institutions, or within SOEs,” Teddy added.
Four hundred SOE employees attending President Prabowo’s briefing in Hambalang are the first batch of PFLP participants. In a photo posted by the Cabinet Secretariat on Instagram @sekretariat.kabinet, participants were seen sitting in an auditorium wearing black uniforms, with male participants having shaved heads.
Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the programme is part of the government’s effort to strengthen leadership quality within SOEs. “The PFLP is designed to support President Prabowo’s vision of creating good SOE governance through strengthening human resources with the best heart and best mind,” he said.
The Ministry of Defence launched the PFLP SOE Employees Batch 1 for the 2026 fiscal year at Kodiklat TNI in Serpong, Banten, on Wednesday, 20 May 2026. During the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Defence Donny Ermawan Taufanto explained that the PFLP is designed to support President Prabowo’s vision of creating good SOE governance.
