President Prabowo Subianto was once again presented with stacks of money at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung). These funds are the proceeds of seizures from various cases, with values that are substantial.

“I am pleased if I am invited continuously to events like this; every invitation allows me to see physically Rp 10 trillion,” said Prabowo while speaking against the backdrop of towering stacks of money at Kejagung on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

This is not the first time. Prabowo recalls that he has experienced at least four such moments.

“I think this is the umpteenth event. It’s the fourth time. Four times with a total handover of approximately Rp 40 trillion,” he said.

When exactly?

  1. October 2025

The first time stacks of money were displayed by Kejagung was during the handover of replacement funds for state losses from the corruption case involving exports of processed palm oil CPO and its derivatives on 20 October 2025. The total amounted to Rp 13.2 trillion.

“Remember, if we look at this, this is equivalent to repairing 8,000 of our schools, allowing 5 million fishermen to live, 5 million, with the money here,” said Prabowo.

The event took place at the Attorney General’s Office on 20 October 2025. The state received Rp 13,255,244,538,149 from the corruption case losses. However, the total state losses amounted to Rp 17,708,848,926,661.

The Rp 13.2 trillion was seized from three companies at once: Wilmar Group, Musim Mas Group, and Permata Hijau Group. The breakdown is Rp 11.88 trillion returned by Wilmar Group for state losses. Then Musim Mas Group for Rp 1.18 trillion and Permata Hijau Group for Rp 186.43 billion.

  1. December 2025

Prabowo also attended the handover of state financial recovery results from the misuse of forest areas worth Rp 6.6 trillion at Kejagung on 24 December.

Prabowo stated that the fines and seizures were produced from 20 companies that failed to fulfil their obligations. He emphasised that the government is serious about taking action against parties that violate regulations.

“20 companies failed and did not want to meet their obligations, which could save the lives of 100,000 of our brothers and sisters, and this is just the tip of the iceberg,” he said.

  1. April 2026

Prabowo attended another handover of seized money on 10 April 2026. This time it was the Handover of Administrative Fines and State Financial Recovery as well as Results of Reclaiming Forest Areas Phase VI worth Rp 11.4 trillion at the Kejagung complex in Jakarta.

Prabowo admitted he was happy because his government had successfully saved state funds totalling Rp 31.3 trillion. Prabowo said this money was recovered under his leadership in just 1.5 years.

“Today we are present at the handover of financial recovery results, state assets, and administrative fine collections for 2026 amounting to Rp 11,420,104,815,858, brothers and sisters, this is an honour and joy for me that this happens repeatedly in the government I lead, which is only 1.5 years old,” said Prabowo.

  1. May 2026

Most recently, today Prabowo attended the handover of seized funds from the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) at Kejagung. The total handed over in this fourth phase is Rp 10,270,051,886,464.

The trillions in seized money were placed in clear plastic bags containing Rp 100,000 notes. Of the total, it came from administrative fines worth Rp 3,423,742,672,359 and Satgas PKH results for PBB-Non PBB taxes worth Rp 6,846,309,214,105.

He is pleased with events like this. He also received whispers about the next handover of seized money. He suspects the corruptors have fled.

“I got a whisper that next month there will be a handover of Rp 11 trillion, they say, and I also got a report that there is approximately Rp 39 trillion in unclear funds; the corruptors or criminals might have fled Indonesia or died, and the money is left in unclear accounts,” said Prabowo.

“Maybe he has many young wives or mistresses, so his wives, heirs, don’t know he has money in those banks; it hasn’t been managed for years,” he added.

Prabowo said that if the money is not managed by the heirs, it will be seized for the state.
