4 antitank mortars found in Ambon

AMBON, Maluku: Merlin, an Ambon resident, discovered four
antitank mortars in a house in Gunung Nona to which she was
intending to move. Upon investigation, it was discovered that
only one mortar was still active.

The mortars were found in wooden cases on Saturday as Merlin
cleaned the house of Raden Rusdianto, a son of a late Army
officer from the Pattimura Military Command overseeing Maluku
province. Merlin had bought the house from Rusdianto, who moved
to Papua province, chief of Ambon and Lease Islands Police Adj.
