4.64 Million Taxpayers Have Already Submitted Annual Tax Returns via Coretax
Indonesia’s Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) under the Ministry of Finance reported that as of Saturday morning, 27 February 2026, 4.64 million taxpayers have submitted their annual Tax Return (SPT) for personal income tax (PPh) for the 2025 tax year. Simultaneously, the number of taxpayers who have activated Coretax accounts has reached 14.69 million.
The development in personal income tax annual returns filing consists of Employee Individual Taxpayers numbering 4,126,978 and Non-Employee Individual Taxpayers 408,524. Meanwhile, Corporate Income Tax SPT totals 109,575 and Corporate Income Tax SPT in US dollars amounts to 103.
This figure continues to grow. On 23 February, the total SPT filed was only 3.55 million. “Progress in Annual PPh Tax Return Filing as of 27 February 2026 (Tax Year 2025) records 4,646,178 SPT,” according to a statement from Inge Diana Rismawanti, Director of Education, Services, and Public Relations of the DJP.
To file an SPT at present, taxpayers must already have a Coretax account and KO/SE (Authorisation Code/Electronic Certificate). Previously, the DJP explained that the deadline for activating Coretax accounts and creating Authorisation Code/Electronic Certificates can be completed before the digital service can be used for filing.
The filing deadline for annual SPT for individual taxpayers is a maximum of three months after the end of the tax year or 31 March. Meanwhile, the filing deadline for corporate taxpayers is 30 April.
To date, the number of taxpayers who have activated DJP Coretax accounts has reached 14,693,596. This consists of Individual Taxpayers numbering 13,691,569; Corporate Taxpayers 911,990; Government Agency Taxpayers 89,812; and Electronic Trading System Traders (PMSE) 225.
